In the summer of 2023, as Mayday's songs echoed through Beijing Shougang Park, countless fans looked up amidst the deafening chorus and witnessed a breathtaking sight: five colorful, multi-meter-tall giant "band buddies" peeking out from the steel and concrete of the industrial ruins. Some waved, some playfully hung upside down, some gazed quietly at the crowd with wide eyes.

This wondrous collision of hardcore industry and dreamy fairy tale was handcrafted by us – Wenzhou Sanliuling Inflatables – into a tangible "rock dream."

The fan check-in zone for a Mayday concert is never just a photo backdrop. It carries the teenage memories and passionate journeys of fans spanning over a decade. When we received the project for the "Giant Check-in Inflatables" at Beijing Shougang Park, we knew: this wasn't just prop production. It was a physical sublimation of a emotional connection involving tens of millions of fans.

The distinctive rough industrial aesthetic of Shougang Park posed natural challenges for the installation and presentation of the inflatables. How could we showcase the ultimate softness and vitality of the IP characters amidst concrete walls and steel trusses?

• Posture Replication: Each of the five big cuties in the picture has a completely different posture – hanging upside down, waving, lying flat, resting their chin. We used high-precision 3D modeling and segmented airtight structures to capture every smile and expression of the original IP, while repeatedly verifying anchor points on-site to ensure every pose remains "floating like a fairy" yet stable as a rock in the outdoor wind.
• Colors That Sing: Mayday's IP colors are vibrant and healing. To reproduce that "Mayday Blue" and "Vibrant Orange-Yellow" under strong outdoor light, our color team spared no expense in multiple sampling tests. Using high-saturation outdoor eco-friendly fabrics, we ensured that whether under the blazing sun or the glow of evening lights, they would be the most eye-catching "attention magnets" in Shougang Park.
• Fighting the Wind: Shougang Park is open and exposed to frequent northern gusts. We reinforced the internal structure with airtight partition systems and deployed highly concealed, multi-point high-strength anchoring, locking this "sky fairy tale" firmly in the air and safeguarding every fan's check-in experience.
