Giant Character

A giant inflatable only works if it holds up at scale. Proportion stays right at 30 meters the way it does at 3. Color stays flat across 200 square meters of printed fabric. Seams take wind load for weeks without bleeding air. That is the brief we work to on every giant project.
Since 2006, we have built giant inflatables for Disney, POP MART, Tencent, Longfor and 200+ other brands. From city plaza landmarks to outdoor brand activations, every project is designed, engineered and built inside our 10,000㎡ facility in Wenzhou. One partner from sketch to site.

We build giant inflatables from 0.5m to 40m and beyond. Whether vertical, horizontal, or suspended, the form is engineered as a single-piece structure rather than stitched-together modules. Size never limits what we can deliver.

At giant scale, wind load, seam fatigue, and blower stability all compound. We engineer for continuous outdoor use with double-stitched stress-point reinforcement, commercial-grade blowers, and project-specific anchoring plans — so the structure holds shape from day one through week four.

Giant-scale experience comes from delivery. Over 60,000 projects, including landmark builds for Disney, POP MART, Tencent, Longfor, Alibaba, and NetEase. We know how a 25m mascot behaves in a plaza, and we design around known failure points before production starts.

Close up, a giant inflatable is judged on the same details as a 1m display — sharp printed lines, matched Pantone colors, clean seam transitions. We match brand guidelines at any scale and hand-finish critical areas where printing alone cannot hold detail.

Giant builds rarely stop at shape alone. LED lighting, helium lift, water anchoring, sound, motion, RC control — we integrate these into the structure from the 3D modeling stage, not as add-ons at the end.
We manufacture giant inflatables from 0.5 meters to 40 meters and beyond. Sizes over 15 meters are our specialty — we have delivered city-landmark builds including 25m+ mascots and multi-story outdoor installations. Every size is fully custom; there are no fixed "standard dimensions."
Lead time for most giant inflatables is 15 to 35 working days. Simpler giant builds (balls, arches, cubes) finish in 2 to 3 weeks. Complex giant character mascots or multi-element landmark projects typically take 4 to 6 weeks. Rush production is available for tight timelines.
Giant inflatables use continuous-run commercial blowers that stay on during the entire deployment. The blower pressurizes the inflatable constantly, compensating for normal air loss through seams. Our standard blowers are rated for 24/7 continuous operation and come with the product.
With proper anchoring, our giant inflatables are rated up to 38 km/h (24 mph, Beaufort Force 5) in compliance with BS EN 14960 international standard. Large-scale landmark projects can be engineered for higher wind loads with project-specific structural reinforcement and custom anchoring plans.
Yes. We use Pantone-matched large-format digital printing and provide a 3D render for client approval before production. For brand-critical areas like logos, facial features, or signature colors, we hand-finish details to ensure pixel-level accuracy even at 20m+ scale.
Yes. We provide on-site installation across 40+ countries for large or complex giant builds. Our crews handle anchoring, rigging, wind-load assessment, and full setup. For standard giant inflatables, we provide detailed installation guides and real-time remote support.
Standard anchoring uses sandbags and ground stakes that come with the product. For larger or long-term installations, we design project-specific anchoring — ground concrete anchors, ballast systems, or structural tie-downs — based on site conditions, wind exposure, and deployment duration.
With proper use and storage, a commercial-grade giant inflatable lasts 5 to 10+ years. Lifespan depends on deployment environment (outdoor UV exposure, climate), usage frequency, and storage conditions. Our materials are UV-resistant, fire-retardant, and rated for commercial long-term use.
Yes. LED lighting (RGB, single-color, DMX-controlled, or APP-controlled), interactive motion mechanisms, sound systems, smoke effects, RC control, and helium lift can all be integrated. Functions are built into the structure during 3D modeling, not added on later.
For outdoor giant inflatables, we most often use Oxford fabric (durable, UV-resistant, breathable) and PU-coated fabric (weather-proof). PVC and mirror PVC are used when visual effect requires them. Material choice depends on deployment duration, environment, and visual goals.
A giant inflatable looks simple on a 3D render. Making one that survives a month of outdoor deployment, anchors correctly in a city plaza, and still matches your brand's exact visual guidelines is a completely different engineering problem. This section covers what we have learned from 20 years of giant-scale production — the questions we get asked most when a project is still in the planning stage, and the technical details most manufacturers skip over.
Giant inflatables do not scale linearly. A design that works perfectly at 5m often needs structural redesign at 20m — air volume, skin tension, seam stress and wind load all grow at different rates. The most common mistake is treating a giant build as a bigger version of a smaller one. We treat every giant project as a structural engineering problem first and a design problem second.
Most of our giant builds fall into five project types. Understanding which one you have changes everything downstream — materials, anchoring, lifespan expectations, installation method.
| Project Type | Typical Size | Deployment | Key Engineering Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brand activation mascot | 8–25m | Days to weeks | Visual fidelity, fast setup |
| City landmark installation | 15–40m+ | Weeks to months | Structural durability, wind rating |
| Shopping mall feature | 5–15m | Seasonal | Indoor safety, compact storage |
| Festival or event piece | 8–20m | Days | Fast install/uninstall, reuse cycles |
| Public art installation | 10–30m+ | Weeks to months | Artistic accuracy, long-term finish |
For giant projects over 10 meters, we recommend a site check before finalizing the design. Most failures in the field happen because someone assumed the venue could handle the piece without verifying. A 15-minute site discussion upfront saves weeks of rebuild later.
Giant inflatable pricing depends on four variables, in order of impact:
Simple giant balls or cubes are the most cost-efficient giant form. Detailed character mascots, anatomically accurate animal replicas, and multi-element landmark builds sit at the high end. We provide transparent cost breakdowns so you can see exactly what drives the number.
The faster you can share these four pieces of information, the faster we can give you an accurate quote and timeline:
Everything else — material selection, functional add-ons, anchoring plan — we can work out together once the core brief is clear.
